Requirements for IT AIR Theme

To use IT AIR theme, you need:

  • WordPress 3.8 or higher
  • PHP 5.2.4 or higher
  • MySQL 5.0 or higher
  • Apache mod_rewrite module musts be enabled

Installation & Update

Install by Uploading Zip File

Step 1 - Login to your admin page.

Step 2 - Navigate to Appearance > Themes.

Step 3 - Click Install Themes and hit the Upload button.

Step 4 - Navigate to where you download IT AIR zip file on your computer, click Install Now.

Step 5 - Wait a moment for the theme to be uploaded and installed.

Step 6 - When it finishes, go to Appearance > Themes and activate the theme.

Install Theme Online

Step 1 - Login to your admin page.

Step 2 - Navigate to Appearance > Themes.

Step 3 - Click on Add new button

Step 4 - Type “IT AIR” in the search box

Step 5 - Hover over the theme and click on “Install” button

Update IT AIR Theme

To update the theme, simply download the new version (typically found in our homepage) and install it using one of the two methods mentioned above.

Note that it’s strongly recommended to backup your current theme folder located at wp-content/themes.

Responsive Option

You can choose if your website supports various device widths: mobile phones ( < 480px), tablets (480px – 960px).

Background

Click on the Background Type dropdown and choose.

NOTE: Background Type only appears when Page Layout is not full-width.

Solid Color

You can either write a color code or use the color picker to change your background in solid color.

Step 1 - Login to your admin page.

Step 2 - Navigate to Appearance > Customize

Step 3 - Click on General icon.

Step 4 - Click on Background Type, choose Solid Color in the dropdown list

Step 5 - In the Solid Color input, either write the color hex code or click on the right button to play color palette, then choose the color there.

Step 6 - Click on Save button on the top-right corner.

Header

Header and Sticky Header

Turn on/off header

Step 1 - Login to your admin page.

Step 2 - Navigate to Appearance > Customize.

Step 3 - Click on Header icon.

Step 4 - Switch the header on/off by clicking on the respective button

Step 5 - Click on Save button at the top-right corner.

Sticky header

Sticky header is a function that makes your header always horizontally stick at the top of the webpage when you’re scrolling down.

Step 1 - Click on Header icon.

Step 2 - In General section, select Yes/No to enable/disableStick Header to Top.

Step 3 - Click on Save button at the top-right corner.

Step 1 - Click on Header icon.

Step 2 - In General section, select Yes/No to enable/disable hiding header on homepage.

Step 3 - Click on Save button at the top-right corner.

Logo

Step 1 - Click on Header icon.

Step 2 - In Logo section, click on the right button of Logo Image input field. A popup will appear, either choose an image in the Media Library or Upload one from your computer, then click on Select.

Step 3 - There are also options to setup logo for retina in Logo Image (Retina) and logo for responsive mode in Logo Image (Responsive). Do the same as step 2 to upload images you want.

Step 4 - Click on Save button at the top-right corner.

Menu

To create a new menu

Step 1 - Login to your admin page.

Step 2 - Navigate to Appearance > Menus section of your admin.

Step 3 - Click the Create A New Menu link to make a new menu. Enter the name then hit the Create Menu button.

Step 4 - To add a menu item, select one of your created pages on the left hand side and click Add to Menu. You can also add all kinds of different posts from the left side.

Step 5 - To add a custom menu item, enter a custom name and link into the Links box.

Step 6 - Manage your menus by using the drag and drop functionality. To create a dropdown menu, simply drag a menu item below and slightly to the right of another menu item and it will lock into place and create a dropdown section.

Step 7 - After setting up your menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page to assign the menu to one of the 4 locations in the Theme Locations box.

Step 8 - Once it’s all done, make sure you click the Save button.

Step 1 - Click on Promo icon.

Step 2 - In the Content section, choose Page Information from Content dropdown box.

Step 3 - You can select if Excerpt and Breadcrumb are displayed or not. You can also insert Breadcrumb prefix.

Step 2 - IT Air provides 1, 2, 3 or 4 columns Sidebar layout for Bottom, choose one from the dropdown box.

Step 3 - You can change Sidebar Settings by clicking on buttons. From there, you can add widgets into bottom sidebars (1 to 4).

Step 4 - Once it’s all done, make sure you click the Save button.

Blog

Create New Blog Post

Step 1 - Navigate to Posts in your WordPress admin.

Step 2 - Click on Add New to make a new post. Create a title and insert your post content in the editing field.

Step 3 - Add Categories from the right side. To assign it to the post, check the box next to the Category name.

Step 4 - Add Tags from the right side. Type the name of the tag in the field, separate multiple tags with commas.

Step 5 - For a single image, click Featured Image Box, select an image and click Set Featured Image.

Step 6 - For a video post, paste the iFrame embed from either Youtube or Vimeo into the post content.

Step 7 - You can customize the page setting for a blog post by using IT Page Options under the post content box: click on Use custom setting to enable customization functions for a single blog post or Use theme setting to inherit all global settings.

Step 8 - Once you are finished, click Publish to save the post.

WooCommerce

Manage Orders

Orders are created when a customer completes the checkout process and are visible by Admin and Shop Manager users only. Each order is given a unique Order IDYou can manage orders by going to WooCommerce > Orders in the left hand admin menu.

You can also add orders manually by clicking on Add order button

The orders table has multiple fields to display orders’ details:

1. Status:

  • Pending – Order received (unpaid)
  • Failed – Payment failed or was declined (unpaid)
  • Processing – Payment received and stock has been reduced- the order is awaiting fulfilment
  • Completed – Order fulfilled and complete
  • On-Hold – Awaiting payment – stock is reduced, but you need to confirm payment
  • Cancelled – Cancelled by an admin or the customer – no further action required
  • Refunded – Refunded by an admin – no further action required

2. Order: display order number, customer’s detail (name, phone number, address, email) (click on order number to edit order details)

3. Purchased: display number of purchased items

4. Ship to: display shipping address and shipping method (click on address to show it on Google map)

5. Customer Message: display customer’s message

6. Order Notes: display notes of the order

7. Date: display order date

8. Total: display order total and payment method

9. Action: display actions that you can take on the order

There are also options to filter orders that satisfy specific criteria

Manage Coupons

Coupons are a great way to offer discounts & rewards to your customers, plus they help promote sales across your WooCommerce shop. If you want to use coupons with WooCommerce you first need to enable them in your WooCommerce settings under Settings > Checkout.

Enable coupon feature

You can add coupons manually by clicking on Add coupon button then the created coupons will be listed out on the coupon table. The table has the following fields:

1. Code: the coupon code that can be used by customer at checkout to get discount if the order satisfies specific conditions

2. Coupon type: the type of coupon that affect how the discount will be calculated

3. Coupon amount: the value of coupon when applying to orders

4. Description (optional): coupon description

5. Product IDs: products which coupons can be applied to

6. Usage / Limit: the later number is the number of times that coupons can be used while the former is the number of times that the coupons have been used

7. Expiry Date: the date that coupons will be expired

Manage Products

Manage products

The product list is an overview of your products. It includes:

1. Image: product image

2. Name: product name with its ID and actions that can be used on the product

3. SKU: product sku

4. Stock: the product is in stock or out of stock

5. Price: regular and sale price

6. Categories: the categories that the products belong to.

7. Tag: for grouping products under keywords

8. Star: set products as featured

9. Type: product type (including simple, grouped, external, variable product)

10. Date: the date that products are published
